running madriva all updates installed + kde
after installing the nvid driver my actuall display resolution does not want to change at all. my desktop resolution does however change i tryed every posible combination, changed monitor type to generic and res...also i edited the xorg.conf and changed a bunch of stuff from 600 480 to 1024 768 but it magicly changed back... how does this work??? why did instaling driver do this...im kind of lost |

Now I found that topic, and the same happens here, and with another friend of mine.
My VGA is a GeForce 6600 GT, and my friends one is a GeForce 2 MX400 |
