In order to block the attacks of your opponents you have to press the block button at the right time (you won't block a hit if you keep pressing it). When your timing is right the fights are quite easy. Again it's all about timing!

3 guys at once is nothing, later on they throw 3 or 4 at you at once, sometimes one has a gun, and then another room full is right after that.

I beat the first game on 360. Man, it was awesome. I decided to get Condemned 2 for 360 when it was on sale for $9.99 at BestBuy. I might start play it since it's spring break for me.

And another bird wisperd in my ear the the next game will be Pc only and uses Cryengine 3.5 and then ported to PS4 / X-To Sexy when them console comes out around 2012!

All done. Great game. Recommend to any that haven't played it. It's only $7 now. Some definite quality scary bits, outstanding atmosphere and decent combat.
