Hi. I'm using KDE on FC5.
I have installed the latest NVIDIA driver for the display (8756). Seem to have worked, but flickers twice before showing the NVIDIA logo on startup. Sound server could not start and mixer disappeared. Nice. I changed the permissions of /dev/dsp and /dev/dsp1 to 666 and it started again, but I still have no mixer. Transition to FC5 from FC4 has been a painfull process. |
