I have installed your driver Exactly as you have in your instructions and it is working in every way as far as i can tell but i can't get 32bit color. is this just a limitation on the part of linux or how can i fix this?

You have to use 24bit, its still 32bit anyhow as the extra 8 bits is for the alpha channel.

Note, this is discussed in great detail in the NVIDIA driver README.

Thanks,
