Quadro 4 550 XGL maximum pixel clock over DVI

I want to use my Quadro 4 550 xgl card to drive a Dell 2405fpw. I was aware that these old cards perhaps have a limit of 140MHz on DVI output.

But when I tried it, I get a limit of 112MHz pixel clock!

Is it true, that this card a that limited, or is this false detected?

And even if it tells me, that interlaced modes are supported, it can't use these (I tried the one, that are already reported as working).

PS: Everything is working if I use analog connection to the monitor.
