So I'm using Ubuntu Breezy. I'm going to be following this How-To for installing my drivers: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=75074
I'll be using method 2 and this should get me around the API Mismatch that I got before reading the how to and trying to do it myself. Now...I see that there are some issues with this driver and TwinView. I'm using TwinView to display a cloned display onto my TV at what I believe I have set to 800x600. I was wondering if someone could summarize any xorg.conf changes I might have to make in order to have my twinview working. I've seen things about 800x600 maybe not working and stuff about UseDisplayDevice "TV" over ConnectedMonitors "CRT", "TV". Any help would be appreciated...this is my mythbox so a display onto a TV is priority one. |
