Hello,
I've tried to install nvidia drivers for the nvidia website on my new debian. These drivers work perfectly when i've fedora, but i've many errors and xserver don't start on debian, that's why i've tried to install with apt-get install nvidia-glx command (debian package). The problem is that this driver need nvidia-kernel-1.0.8756, and i don't know how to emerge or where download this. Many thanks to the personnes who can help me. |

Gentoo has the best source of information for a linux distro you should have no problem in getting more information.
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_nVidia_Drivers 1. echo "media-video/nvidia-kernel ~x86" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords 2. echo "media-video/nvidia-glx ~x86" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords emerge nvidia-kernel should sort it out. |

bash /path/to/nvidiainstaller.run should be good to go. |
