Problems with the GUI Installer on FC 5
I have an GeForce 6800 GS PCI Express x16 Graphics card.
I have it running perfectly on Fedora Core 4, however I am wanting to upgrade to Fedora 5.
Here is my issue:
When I boot to the graphical installer it always picks the incorrect video driver. I assume that it most likely does not know how to deal with a PCI Express x16 card yet.
I cannot use the text installer, for some reason it crashes in the middle of installation, I assume this is due to my disk configuration and not the graphics card.
Is there a way make a driver disk, so I can load the driver and get core 5 installer GUI to load correctly?
I know I would have to create an image of the driver some how, and put it on the disk, but I am not familliar with that proceedure as I have never had problems with this before.

If you've got a spare machine on the network, the easiest way to sort this problem is to install via vnc. Then you can use the graphical boot loader without using graphics locally. Just type linux vnc at the syslinux boot prompt and run a vncclient on your other machine to connect to it.
