Default Suse 8.1 and MX 440 and a TFT screen

I finally got the new drivers working, only I have vertical bad lines in my screen (approx. 1 cm apart). It means that if you have a page full of text, some letters are very blurry, and others are perfect. You can see this phenomena when you start the PC, and the X-screens appears (the grey one). It should be equal eveywhere. Well, you can see the bars of bad, blurry lines, like you are sitting in a prison.
Does anyone know what the problem can be?

Hardware: Compaq Evo Workstation (P4 1.6 GHz, 384 Mb, 10 GB, GeForce MX 440 card and Compaq TFT5004 tft monitor).

Thanks for the help.

Try setting your refresh rate to 60Hz in your XF86Config file. Most LCD screens will display vertical line ghosting if that rate is any higher than 60Hz.
