Exclamation glut issue

Hello I have noticed a quite strange bahaviour of glut based GUI library called GLUI under linux with geforce (Slackware 10.2 gf4400 linux drivers).
The thing is that when I try to resize, say a button with GLUI_Button::set_w() the GLUI subwindow stops refreashing and messes itself up tottaly.
This behaviour doesn't show up on my laptops graphics card (also Slackware 10.2 with intel based graphics card with dri and glx for it loaded).
Is there any way to overcome that, any option to turn on or off, please advice.

cheers
Paul

Intel graphics cards can be a lot of things. May or may not even support OpenGL.

Check your system for some ATI drivers. A lot of those intel graphics cards are exactly whats in my laptop - an ATI 9000 mobility ( / i345 or whatever it is their alt name for it is). If that's the case, download the latest Omega driver version and install that and you should receive drastically improved performance and maybe it would work for you.

Yes exactly, the gefroce is my problem, not the intel card, btw it does support opengl (DRI), otherwise glut would not run.

I've found another anomaly with geforce when I create a glut window without double buffering it filckers, but when I lunch nvidia-settings flickering stops, ofcourse when I create double buffered window thereis no flickering either before or after I lunch nvidia-settings. I'ts a little awkward...
