Default linux driver x86-1.0-8174 install problem

On Fedora Core 5, x86, the installer can't find a pre-compiled interface on the Nvidia site so it tries to compile a kernel module. The compilation fails. I'm using the 2.6.16-1.2096_FC5 kernel. The installation log is attached.

Thanks for any help.

P.S. My bad--I thought I had the latest driver but I didn't. The 8756 driver installed fine and everything looks good so far.
