I have bought two PCI slot coolers like this http://www.titan-cd.com/eng/system/003.htm# to cool my gfx card which is a Evga Nvidia 6800 Ultra 256MB Agp 8x.
My case is http://www.price.ro/specificatii_kme..._400w_5876.htm , the grey one. My system specs are: CPU: Pentium IV 2.4C Northwood Cooler: Stock P4 Cooler Mainboard: Gigabyte 8IPE1000-L Rev 2.0 Memory: 2.0 GB Twinmos PC3200 BH5 HDD: HDD WD 80 GB JB,DVD NEC 3540A 1.04 Video: Geforce 6800 Ultra Sound: Sound Blaster Audigy Case: ANTEC 430W TRUE POWER. I want you to tell me how can i mount these two coolers to make a better cooling for my video card. |

You mount it underneath the video card so the fan points upto the vide card. I have had something simlar ro this in the past and found them pretty much useless.

well, it depends on what it does.... if it is an exhaust fan, it'll starve the gpu of air, and hurt performance, however if it pipes in cold air from the outside, it could help a bit by getting it cool air, in general it won't make a huge difference, not nearly the difference that you'd get by changing the heatsink

cannot change the heatsink...there are no more in production from the evga site

This fan is designed to suck air from the case. It won't help much to cool your GF6...
