For some reason there's a LOT of aliasing going on in every shot. Hopefully they'll fix that.

Doesn't say if those are actually PS3 shots of from the Arcade version. Looks better then DOA4 thats for sure... But then again it could look like VF4 and still be better then DOA4 thanks to its ass of gameplay...

I miss DOA2's gameplay

The gameplay of DOA4 is crap and Magus is right: the game has taken a downward spiral since the 2nd chapter. It' seems that Team Ninja is uncapable of making a balanced game with a progressive learning curve and credible AI. DOA saving grace are the pretty, anime style graphics.

About Virtua Fighter 5, what I've seen about (I'm talking about the graphics) is far from being impressive. The fighters seem some kind of cheap plastic action figures. All the shots released should still be taken from the arcade version which runs on customized PC hardware. (Lindemberg arcade system uses Penitum IVs and NVidia GPUs)

The models look far better and these are just early shots that could be from the Arcade version, not on the PS3 (Arcade is running on weaker hardware then PS3).

Here are shots comparing male characters fighting in a gameplay shot for both... neither are these are prerendered but all ingame graphics.

Anyone heard that Sega has in development a game "that takes place the VF universe" in exclusive for the Xbox360 ?

Could it be the much anticipated Shenmue 3 ? :O

No since it doesn't take place in the Virtua Fighter Universe.
