Default TwinView on a SuSE 10.0 stopped working, please help me

In the last few days I received an update warning from my YOU. I did.
After this, my video out stopped working.

I've a TwinView configuration that could be optionally enabled by removing some # (rem)... I must have a PAL-B out, with a resolution of 800x600, keeping first monitor (the PC monitor) @1280x1024. The out line is a COMPOSITE signal and it's linked to a TV.

Its not clear what you meant by "video out stopped working". Are you getting no picture on both the CRT and TV?

What changed in the last few days on your system?

Please generate and post an nvidia-bug-report.log.

It was a Xorg security update that even noticed me that it would have changed xorg.conf if necessary in a certain variable "xxgrlx" something like this, anyway something I didn't have in my xorg.conf. It was an update to xorg-x11-server 6.8.2-100.5.

By now my CRT (lcd) work my tv-out no...

Thanks for the help!

The X log and corresponding configuration in the attached bug report is only setup to drive the CRT.

This update broke my system and the one at work (with ATI card) as well.

What I did to fix it:
1. move back the "saved" xorg.conf in the /etc/X11 directory. It was saved by YOU as xorg.conf.post(and some more characters)
2. re-installed the driver.

It looks like the Xorg update just backs out any closed drivers and switches back to the internal ones, probably to avoid dependency problems. but it means the users of nvidia and ATI drivers lose the extended functionality.

I didn't solve by reinstalling my nVidia drivers and copying on xorg.conf the previous version...

I don't know what to do... maybe by reinstalling xorg server without the security update I can make the twinview working...
