Am I to understand that this difficulty thing is a bug? I knew that Sin had some kind of autoleveling and I was wondering why the game wasn't sensing that I was getting my ass kicked every 20 seconds or so. Guess I'll put the game on hold for a few days while they work some issues out and give it another shot.

It's not a bad game at all. I just feel like it's nothing we haven't seen before. Hopefully the story picks up a little bit (inside the U4 labs right now) and there are a few more types of monsters to deal with.

What? Screw that. I'm not paying $20 for 2-4 hours of gameplay however many times developers want to do that.

If episodic gaming is going to take off, it needs to be cheaper and/or have more content for what you're buying.

What?

Its $20 for at least 6 hours gameplay so far for me, plus I only actually had to pay 13!! also were going to get MP - Co-Op and Arena mode.

I cant speak for dollars but in pounds SiN Episodes works out cheaper than anything else I own ('s per hour of gameplay).

From an English gamers perspective your post is nonsense.

Same here, I downloaded it last night but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm looking forward to playing it this weekend.

Use AFR you guys - SFR the default has a nasty tearing issue and does'nt exit to desktop properly.

for more info check the Ritual Forums.

Wow, after seeing the intro, I think I need to go back and finish the original.

BTW, I'm using AFR but the taskbar is corrupted after exiting the game.

I haven't gotten it yet, I might if reviews are good. Have already preloaded HL2E1 as well as this one, but I'm definitely unlocking HL2E1 on release date.

I like it but unfortunately, I can only play it for a few minutes at at time. It affects me like HL2 (i.e. start getting nauseous if I play for long periods).
