I like it - new ui is way cooler than MP10.

I LOVE the gloss black theme and electric blue buttons.

Yeah, it's much nicer and I really like the update to the Library. Much better organized making it a lot easier to find stuff.

Edit: Cool, it resizes the album pic as you change the column space as well. Nice touch.

BTW, how do I get rid of URGE? For some reason, it's installed twice and I checking options, I don't see a way to remove it.

Edit 2: URGE can be removed by the normal add/remove programs option. I was also just reading that the official beta is supposed to be released Wednesday.

Windows Media Player 11 Beta Looks really eye-candy. The only draw back for me is that it doesn't support Windows XP x64 Pro.

Has it been confirmed that WinXP x64 won't get WMP 11? That makes me sad.

I've been using Media Player 11 for a while now, on Windows Vista. It is interesting to see that it will be released for XP as well, but somehow I doubt it will look as neat without the glass effect though..

BTW, use the torrent download it's much faster.

Anybody else have the problem where WMP 11, when minimized to the toolbar version, you can't show the video/visualization window? Worked fine in version 10. The button does nothing in 11.

Hmmm...Maybe a reinstall is in order.

EDIT: Nope; just a reboot. Funny, it doesn't suggest rebooting after install.
