So how do you know if YOUR profile has stuck?

Exactly... I suspected they were sticking (RO 'seemed' to have SLI8x AA) but how do you confirm that it actually took if it keeps defaulting whenever you look at it?

Just tried them, doesn't work for me.
Everytime I try to access the new CP, a memory error message would appear.
Reverted back to 84.56 for now.

Man, I just dont have that driver tweaking spirit any more. I used to sit and mess with this crap for hours

Im using the 84.25 and I cant really think of any significant problems, so I think Im just going to stick with them.

It seems most performance and image quality improvements people notice from driver updates are either minimal or imagined. Thats deffinitely taken the fun out of this kind of thing.

Does anyone have any solid results showing that these are faster or look better? I'll get them if they are.

No one can tell you what the matrix is, you have to see it

Just had a thought, these are official beta on nzone now.

We surely going to get a new naming structure for vista?

Forceware 101.34 doesn't sound right does it lol

Yap! The AA/AF setting do not stick but it can be re-do again to make it stick!

However, ( Using the NEW CP) the IQ's value does not stick if you changed it to other than the default "Quality"!! I'd tried millions times setting the IQ to Performnace / High Perfoamnce and the IQ still defaulted to the "Quality" as in the Global Setting after saving and re-creating!

It is OK in the Classic CP. Strange indeed!

Count me out of this one....

Nuff said! lol

EDIT: .... First thing I did after that crash nuisance, was to enable classic view, and reboot.

Now it works just fine. The profiles stick too, without any hiccups.

Time for gaming.... That new control panel has a long way to go.
