No problems so far. I had to switch back to the classic view to overclock, set threaded optimization, and see my second gpu temp by using coolbits 2.0. Don't know if those options are buried somewhere in the new panel or not.

obtw, ran 3dmark06 and got about the same: 9498. Got 9593 with 84.56.

The new CP is definitely very user friendly. Here's a screencap of the new temp monitoring display. It's nice that they allow us to log the temps now like ntune does.

Edit: Also, I haven't installed coolbits yet but the threading option seems to have changed. I'm not sure if this option is different or just renamed (opengl threading). See attachment.

Do you need MS Framework for the new CP?

no

these are beta non-whql..... i just tried them.... i lose 60pts in 3dmark06... i think it might be due to the fact that the new control panel wont save certain settings such as the negative lod clamp.... so im using the classic control panel and will rebench later.... hitman blood money runs exactly the same as with the 84.56

I didn't install anything for it but I may already have .NET installed.

BTW, I don't see how to monitor the temps on my 2nd GPU.

Hmm, it let me override the predefined SLI value for Oblivion without any kind of warning. There's also no indication that the value has already been defined (no read only designation). That seems like it could cause problems since people have the potential to change all the nvidia defined SLI values without even knowing it.

begining to reach the end of the line of 2 digit number now hehe.. wonder if there will be 1xx.xx versions, or what they move on to after that..
Maybe a name change and reset?
