A quick questions for those who used the older beta drivers up until May 17th or whenever they expired...When I uninstalled them and reinstalled the older official drivers, I still get the pop up everytime I start my computer telling me my drivers are expired and I can uninstall them now...But they work fine and everything. It's really weird...

Before I install these new betas tonight I think I'll use driver cleaner just to make sure all remanants of past drivers are gone. That's the only thing I can think of doing...even with everything creative related uninstalled, the message still pops up.

Interesting. I dont remember ever having any sound problems with battlefield 2, but I'll install it anyway.

One thing I'd like is an overall improvement of the EAX implementation in BF2. It just isnt done all that well. It could sound much much much better, but they just didnt do enough with the effects. And when you are outside, there are no EAX effects at all.

Maybe this patch fixes that... thatd be sweet.

For Battlefield 2™
* Allows the Ultra-High Audio setting in a multi-player game

Does this mean that the Ultra setting hasn't been working with any online section of the game? Wow, nice of them to let us know, would have been better to know this before I purchased the card months ago. It sounds better than the ZS2 but I wonder how good the real ultra sounds, I never played single player. Kinda of BS they are just comming out with this info now. Then again they wouldn't have sold as many usless cards to BF2 players.

I dont know, I think its probably just a glitch some people have, rather than a totaly missing feature.

I'll find out tonight though

Ill wait too..
Man, I just played BF2 after a few months break..
It still amazes me how great the CMSS3d Headphone is in this game.. its good in most others aswell, and not so good in a few (Oblivion and CS:S), but its a entire world of difference in BF2..

I'm off work in an hour and I'll sure test it out. I've always had Ultra Xfi mode selected but they way they word it, it sounds like it only worked in Single player mode and didn't work and never worked on mulitplayer even if selected.
