Question How minimize the amount of system memory used by the NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache?

Hello,
I am running a Linux box with the GeForce 6200 and need a minimum of graphics power, at least most of the time. Can anyone tell if it is possible to turn off or minimize the amount of system memory the graphics card is allocating?
Thanks,
