I did not care to much for the all the dark areas, as I have become very tired of that type of play after DIII and FEAR. I was VERY happy when the darkness came to an end.

I thought the game had some of the most artistically beautiful areas i have seen in a game.

The placement of enemies and such made for some of the coolest fights I have encountered in a game.

Overall it was a wicked game and I will gladly pay $20 for the next installment.
I'm still waiting for Alyx to "fix" my flashlight. Both of 'em!

I agree with this. I'm also getting a bit tired of dark games. Unreal was so nice and colorful. That's the way I prefer it.

It took me about 5 hours on hard to finish this and it was worth the $18 I paid for it. If you liked HL2, which I did, it's more of the same. The game looked excellent with HDR turned on and I was never bored with the scenery except during the darker spots of the game. I enjoy the portion where you were in the Citadel and also the end of the game probably the best.

Can't wait for EP2.

I have to say...I really, REALLY like Source HDR. And this was definitely worth $3.

What a complete rip off ,15 for an hours game before completion is rubbish, The so called hi res textures arent a patch on the hi res texture pack I used for Hl2 , NO VEHICLES, NO NEW BADDIES TO KILL, WHAT RUBBISH, I dont mind so much as I bought the original at a boot sale for 5
