Indeed, but they have their own lives to live as well. I don't think they'll want to ALWAYS be in an office working late nights on episode after episode for the next 2-3 years.

I really love this game, It remind me alot of HL1 for some reason, alot of cool scripted sequences, and more interactivity. I like this more than HL2! Still going through it, but its a blast.
The beginning when Dog threw you in a car was awesome, and same with the train ride a little earlier.

I don't find it neccesary to bitch and complain about the unchanged weapon library, because the experience as a whole is more than adequate for me, especially considering the price of 18$..

6 months is still way too long in my opinion. Most expansion packs are released within 6 months of the original game, aren't they? The commentary is full of stuff about how hard they try to get the player to notice the environment, develop character interactions, etc. All of this goes down the toilet if they spend so long between episodes that everyone forgets what's going on.

). The delay on e1 was pretty small, I'd call it good. |

6 months wouldn't be tooooo bad but, like most people, I thought this game was awesome so I'd like to see more sooner rather than later. I would also like to see Valve and other companies experiment with the length of each episode as well as the delay between episodes. I think it'd be pretty neat to get a single new level of about 30-60 minutes in length every week, just like a TV show. These levels can be grouped together into "seasons," and the time between seasons would be longer to facilitate adding new tech, writing new stories, etc.
BTW, just finished my second play through, this time with commentary on. The commentary itself is awesome and really sheds a lot of lot on the development process as a whole. The folks at Valve really seem to have their act together and have no problem changing or dropping segments if they are just not fun. |

SWEET!!!! I just beat it, and it was awesome. Yet another "cliffhanger" ending. And, with that clip at the end, I just wonder- does she die?
EP2 is yet another must-buy for me. I just want it NOW! NOW! NOW! ![]() But, I guess I can wait 6 months, if I REALLY have to. ![]() |

The graphics look brilliant for ep 2.
Seems to remind of bits of Oblivion and Far Cry with the outdoor scenes. |
