Default Fedora Core 5 + 6800 GT troubles..

Hello
Just so everyone knows I'm a complete Linux noob as of right now. =[

I have looked for guides, tutorials, or any information regarding FC5 and Nvidia drivers and have tried them all (that I am aware of), only to arrive at the same outcome every time.
Quote:
No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would you like the installer to download from Nvidia FTP site? . . .
Upon selecting yes I that get.
Quote:
No matching precompiled kernel interface was found on the NVIDIA ftp site.
which leads to. . .
Quote:
Unable to find the kernel source tree for the currently running kernel. Please make sure you have installed the kernel source files for your kernel and that they are properly configured; on Red Hat Linux, for example, be sure you have the 'kernel-source' RPM installed. If you know the correct kernel source files are installed, you may specify the kernel source path with the '--kernel-source-path' command line option.
Installation then goes on to inform me that it has failed. =[

Can anyone shine any light on this or link me to possible solutions that I have overlooked?
Thanks.
