Lol, I was wondering myself....

I would agree BF2 online can suck pretty bad. It doesn't reward skill it rewards people who can figure out how to bunny hop while randomly aiming and hitting other players. I never could figure out why point blank to the chest with an M95 couldn't kill people.

I played that AIX mod for a while yesterday and it was a blast.

I had a small glitch with the thunder sound effects on the new Karkand map, but other than that it was great.

I was a little surprised that they limit you to 32 bots\players though. 64 would have been awesome.

EDIT: Nevermind, its all explained here: http://www.aixtended.com/faq.html

I had an absolute BLAST playing snowy_park_day. Its similar to the old Medal of Honor Allied Assault multiplayer map but during the day.

I played it with 64 players, 1 second respawn... it was INSANE.

I've never seen anything that tested my FPS reflexes so well. Especially playing medic. Running and diving and saving team mates and then firing off 30 rounds from an assault rifle and being overwhelmed by 5 respawning enemies, and then being revived by a team mate and emptying 15 rounds from my sidearm into the remaining enemies... all in about 5 seconds.

ROFL.

Can you run around with the shock paddles like in the standard BF2 and shock people to death? I haven't tried it yet.

Yeah, I was killed by a guy with shock paddles, then I saw a medic running toward me on the radar and the guy who killed me went soaring over my (probably shot with a pistol) and then the medic dove on me and revived me. It was pretty sweet.

Oh, and crainger, AIX is too leet for j00. Go play wolphqwest.
