Unhappy Peculiar Mouse Behaviour on FC5

hello all,

I have Installed FC5 with default software packages .

I get the mouse pointer at the boot time but dramatically mouse pointer disappears once the
Login window appears and is not viscible
even on the Xserver.

but in the text mode I
could see the movement of mouse
in the form of a "WHITE" square.

what is the problem any ways to fix it?

I've had the same thing happen. It seems to be a problem with the free nv driver. After I installed NVidia's drivers AND rebooted, I got the mouse pointer back. You can also switch to the VESA driver if you need to see the pointer to download the proper ones.
