I'm getting a nice solid 80K/second from a German mirror :> Gotta love those Germans.....their Tiger Tanks RULE ! and so does the Autobahn.
I want to post the link, but I'm afraid my download will stop to 0 if I post it too fast I already posted it to the Nvidia newsgroup, but at least it takes awhile for news to propagate ![]() I'll tell you what: PM me for the link please. (that way no guests can get it). My download is slowly getting slower...it started at 80K/second and is now at 70K/sec at 22% completed ![]() |

I'll rar and upload the file to the newsgroup ALT.BINARIES.MISC after it's finished. Even though uploading stuff lags me out so badly I can't do anything, and 177 MB takes a LONG time at 15K/second
![]() And getright just gave me some sort of "access violation: transfer in progress". That could be due to the fact that the first 3 segments finished and now I'm getting 20K/second. it's 74% done though. |

Does this thing **REQUIRE** DirectX 9?
If it does, then I'm screwed, because I've seen so many reports of programs that don't work / start with DX9, or of programs that do start, but are corrupted -_- And I haven't seen a Directx 9 uninstaller that WORKS with win9x at all, yet... ![]() |

I wish I had a net graph of the amount of traffic right now...kinda reminds me how the net slowed down by 30% when the UT2003 demo was released.... |

Mine's finished too, but it's whining about Dx9 being needed
That's something I'm NOT happy about installing, because there's no uninstaller for win98/me ! And I've seen far too many posts about games and apps not working with DirectX 9....I don't want my perfectly working computer to suddenly not be able to work anymore, without needing a format, and losing 40 GB of data !Here's the mirror site, anyway. http://maxpayne.gamesagent.net/?site=detailnews&ID=2666 Was that the mirror you were using, Philibob ? And does anyone know if there is a Dx9 uninstaller that works with win98se? |
