[solved]Failed to initialize GLX extension
Hi All,
I am using Debian Sid with 2.6.17 Kernel Version. I installed the nvidia driver the first time with the module-assistant program but this didn't succeded therefore i tried to install the driver with the bin Pckage from the Nvidia homepage and it looks right, but when i start the X server he tells me, Code:
(EE) Failed to initialize GLX extension (Compatible NVIDIA X driver not found) Any Ideas? lg Markus Last edited by Markus Feldmann; 07-12-06 at 12:56 PM. |

Solved this Problem by moving /etc/init.d/nvidia.glx
Code:
mv /etc/init.d/nvidia-glx /etc/init.d/nvidia-glx_PROBLEMERZEUGER |
