Default What is the DRI Section in xorg.conf?

What purpose does the DRI Section in xorg.conf have and why do people recommended to remove it?

DRI is Direct Rendering Infrastructure.

You should remove it because nvidia driver has its own "direct rendering infrastructure" that is unrelated to this (open source) one.
