Going to pick up my copy this morning, well, at least Amazon said I could

I've been hearing great things from people who have completed the game. Probably warezed versions but a good sign none the less.

I still laugh when I see those bio-health stations. I feel so dirty using one.

Overall I'd say its a pretty damn good experience. I can't tell how far I am, maybe 3/4's of the way or so. Btw the first boss fight was awesome. nice trick with the force fields heh.

That's a resounding vote for it IMO. I loved the level design in Alice. I might actually have to pick this up (not that I need to be spending money right now), and since I finally finished both Doom 3 and Quake 4 I guess I need another Doom 3 engine game to play.

That screenshot you took there slaWter sure looks like something from HL2: Episode 1

Anyway OWE I looked up the Triton service on wikipedia and it looks as like you must be online in order to play it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triton_(content_delivery)

That screenshot you took of Triton really looks a lot like Steam. The interface, My Games, Find Games, My Media and News. Totally Steam like

Won't be in Europe until friday but in delighted to see the predominantly positive feedback

Not usually into Sci-Fi related things honestly... but the demo was awesome and hopefully I will be picking it up today (gotta work tonight though ).

Hope it installs right... think my Hard drive is dying because it likes to say something is corrupt, even when it is a perfect disc .

According to their FAQ, the latest version of the player is supposed to allow offline playing. Of course, I haven't been able to get that working yet though so maybe it's planned and not there yet or something.

Anyway, I agree with the others, the level design is really good and the atmosphere is great.

Edit: Here is the info from the Triton FAQ on offline play.

I split the price of the game with my cousin and played some yesterday and today. The demo was very good something fresh, I don't know what went wrong but the full game isn't grabbing me as much, maybe because I'm having a blast playing the new levels in DoD:S.

Nice game, but you get that doom3/quake4 feeling to the game, strange to explain cause I liked the way quake3 played, but the new engine has this claustraphobic feeling to it and it carrys over into Prey.

For me it'll be one of thoose games that takes a while to finish, playing here and there.

If by clostrophobic people mean that there are many indoor battles with little out door battles- that is a bummer. I never did play Doom3 (though I did play the demo), but Quake4 was awesome as not everything was enclosed. There were large indoor environments and outdoor environments. If Prey follows suit in that manner I think it'll be a blast.
