3DMark03 - 7314
3DMark05 - 4851 3DMark06 - 2304 The system specs are in my signature (everything is running at out-of-the-box speeds). Are these scores typical for this kind of a rig? I haven't completely attacked the running processes on my computer to get optimal speeds, but I don't know how much that would affect the performance. You can click on the processor and memory in my sig to see the CPU-Z screenshots of those categories. It also appears my memory is currently running at 2T.

Well, how low is 'a little low'? What could be the issue? Will pruning the running processes (recommended by 3DMark) and bumping my memory up to 1T provide a noticeable boost? There are quite a bit of processes running. Here's a screenshot of the Windows Task Manager performance tab to show available memory vs. total memory. Also notice in the bottom left where it displays the amount of processes that are currently running.

Your memory has nothing to do with it, its probably your graphics card.

Here are my 7600GT scores: 3DMark03 - 13901 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4847542 3DMark05 - 6763 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=2085927 3DMark06 - 3429 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=366547 Most likely you have 2xAA forced on your nvidia control panel (for image quality). I would have expected 12000/6000/3000 from your rig.

3DMark03: 12672
3DMark05: 5848 3DMark06: 2526 Those scores look a bit better. Olivaw was right about the forced AA/AF in the nVIDIA control panel.

Well, I'll probably just have to live with it for now. The card doesn't crap out when playing any games, and everything I've tried throwing at my rig still runs smoothly. If the numbers are off, it doesn't bother me too much (although I'll try some spring cleaning to see if that's affecting it any). I'll probably finally make the plunge to PCI-E next February.

So Xasz, your score is quite fine now. Others probably just tweak a bit, but at least now you're in the right ballpark ![]() cheers! Play games, not benchies!
