Default Nvidia FC5 Installation Instructions

How to install the Nvidia drivers (1.0-8762) for Fedora Core 5 AMD64.

I tried few no luck. please any one response.

When I installed the nvidia drivers on FC5 it put all the drivers in /usr/X11R6/. I'm using 64 bit so the correct location was /usr/lib64/xorg/.

I unpacked the driver with --unpack-only and manually copied the files to the correct path. Two of them need to be renamed to end in .so instead of .so-<driver version>.
