Hello,
has anyone an Idea what the source of this problem may be: My Sound works nicely, but only on the right channel. The left channel just gives an ugly high beep when sound is being played. The System is a fresh install and the headphones are okay, too. Already tried: alsaconfig, yast (although I can't tell what to set as advanced options) Configuration: SuSE Linux 10.1 Asus M2NPV-VM Motherboard (AMD socket AM2) Nvidia Nforce 430 chipset Sound detected as: MCP51 High Definition Audio Driver: snd-hda-intel I would be very happy about a tip how to find out if this is a hardware or software problem and how to approach it. Thanks in advance, Nick |

Search in the 6150 thread or the socket 939 version of your motherboard (A8N CSM). You need newer ALSA drivers...
