Well I just downed 3DMark03(ask and I will put it up on kazza) and it says DX9 is needed or recommended. DX9 is not reversable so I dont want to take a chance it will mess up my system or any of my games. So has DX9 been trouble free for thoses who downed it?
My set up is Ti4200 64MB,2.53 PR, 512 RDRam. Thanks in advance. |

Whats your OS, Win9.x, WinME, Win2000, WinXP, and what about the other info?
I have Win98 SE, an XP 2000+,asus A7M266D, 512mb DDR 2700, tnt2 vanta, SCSI RAID 0 array, yada yada yada. DX9 works on my rig but it may have problems on a different configuration, hence more information required. Ok?

Install DX9.
It does nothing in regards to compatibility--if it breaks compatibility, you need A. newer Dets or B. you're an idiot and SOMEHOW bungled the installation. ![]() |
