I'm trying to install the latest nvidia driver on Ubuntu. I am using Xorg 7.0. I've noticed that nvidia does not yet support Xorg 7.1, but does it support 7.0? The installation seems to have gone fine, but X will not start. I get these errors:
(EE) Failed to load module "glx" (a required submodule could not be loaded, 0) (EE) Failed to load module "nvidia" (module does not exist, 0) (EE) No drivers available I have run "modprobe nvidia" and confirmed the module is there using lsmod. I will attach /var/log/nvidia-installer.log Thanks, Colin Kern |
