I haven't ordered anything new for a while as far as an upgrade, and nothing new for conroe. I plan on upgrading when DDR3 come out next year. I'll see what shape my computer is in then. If it still run's decent, I might even wait longer.

Well recieved my x6800 this morning now all I need is a damn MB.
Anyone get the intel chipset's working with SLI yet? I could go that route until the 590s are released.

I am running 85.96 SLI modded drivers on my P5W-DH Deluxe, runs smoothly I don't see any issues at all, I just hope they get the newer drivers modded soon as well (or nVidia/Intel strategic partnership to enable on all). Or of course there's always that hawt DFI board mmmm

I could go up to 3.52Ghz, but I'm a chicken with a $1k processor
![]() The real issue is either my memory or my mobo, I can get about 320-FSB(1280mhz), but I have to up Vcore for that. Even at that O/C this processor stays COOOOOOOOOL, running an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 yields 40c idle and 48c load. I'm thinking it's a mobo issue since I cannot manually modify all of the memory timing settings so when it gets to odd frequencies the SPD just can't handle it. Can't wait for the NF5 DFI board, but this mobo and O/C will last me comfortably till then ![]()

I changed my mind about getting the E6700. Gonna wait for Intel's quad-core Kentsfield.
