Hello, I have been having a great deal of difficulty installing NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run onto my FC5. I am extremely new at this and know only that I need this driver, or a driver like it, and that I keep getting this error when I try and open up this file,
gedit has not been able to detect the character coding. Please check that you are not trying to open a binary file. Select a character coding from the menu and try again. could someone please walk me through this, I keep looking it up via google, but I always get dead ends. Help would be greatly appreciated. |
