Hi everyone,
I recently received a TV Tuner card based off the nvidia chipset. Given this I figured there would be a good chance I could get it working in linux, however so far I have come up with nothing. This is my card: http://www.amdreview.com/reviews.php?rev=xtvtr The following is my lspci output: 05:06.0 Multimedia controller: C-Cube Microsystems E4? (rev b1) Any chance I can get this card working? Thanks in advance ![]() Regards, |

Everything that I've read or confirmed personally until now suggests that the XFX and EVGA (were there any others?) NVTV chipset REQUIRE Windows Media Center Edition 2005 to operate.
("And boy do they operate well in that environment!" me, a TiVo fan)

One might poke around at some of these places and from those find more info. Many have forums better than here for ''TV'' info. The v4l list would probably the quickest yes/no/maybe location, .Resources( from http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/8116 and others) The Video4Linux https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listi...deo4linux-list http://www.linuxtv.org/ tvtime http://tvtime.sourceforge.net GQradio http://gqmpeg.sourceforge.net/radio.html PVR Hardware Database http://pvrhw.goldfish.org/tiki-pvrhwdb.php Freevo http://freevo.sourceforge.net (... old post, iknow, but hope it helps anyway. )
