Default Router Software

Hiya fellas,

Are there any web-base software out there that would allow me to monitor the traffic of my router? The only software that I've seen that even comes close to that is Network Magic....but that software is too bloated.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Help a brotha out!

you can always run ethereal and just sniff the traffic.

http://www.ethereal.com/

you can put one machine in the dmz and watch the traffic but anything short of an enterprise type router were you would beable to forward all traffic from all ports to a single port, what i posted is probably the best sollution.

Isn't Ethereal called Wireshark now?

Wonder would they change the name, and then mention nothing about it on ethereal site?

If you're using windows boxens you can use dsniff + GARP to screw with the arp tables and sniff across a MITA gateway. It's fun in a ++ATH0M0 way.

I want to see who is trying to ping me to death. I've been having some issues with someone on my yahoo list sending me some hefty packets.

I found some software called (what else? ) Router Monitor that seems to do the job I need done.

also after playing with this i am will to bet if hes doing this hes either smurfing the address (the tcp replies are going to someone elses host) or just completly spoofing the adder.
