Can you install Firefox onto a USB drive and carry that around? The guys at uni who refused to use linux on the dual boot computers did that.

I use IE and my computer stopped crashing when I updated Flash. I will start trying to figure what is causing this problem for some of you.

What is it from? I use IE at my college over the network everyday and I haven't had a problem yet.. I hope I don't start crashing....

Yep, that cleared it up. It's wierd that the flash code just crashes IE when the updated flash player isn't present.

Ya that happens to someone everytime they re-format ot something. I know I have asked that same question at leats 3 times in here.

I'm using IE7 and it works beautifully. Though I do know what you guys are referring to.

Another forum I visit (once in a blue moon ) is AMDZone.com- and their adds make the site take forever to load. That is one main reason I seldom frequent that site. I'm not too patient I guess.

Ya, that's how I am with any site. If ad's make the site load slowly then I am liek **** it. If I am trying ot buy somethign off their site, then they just lost my business. I don't want to wait forever.

thats the point.. no one likes to wait for some ads.. we don't need them.. if the website needs them for revenue, the least they can do is see that it loads fast and doesn't interrupt the browsing!!
