Default How Can I Completely Block an App from Accessing the Internet?

Is there a way to do this with windows firewall?

Another way?

I want to use certain applications, but completely deny them access to the internet, going out and coming in.

But in all seriousness, I believe if you use ZoneAlarm (great free firewall program), it allows you to set these kind of things.

No. Windows firewall only fights half the battle. It can block only incoming connections.

Although I think this will change in Windows Vista.

In XP, outgoing connections can be blocked with IPSec rules, but it's a severe pain. You're better off downloading and setting up a third party firewall.

I went with Zone Alarm Free Edition. Seems to do the trick.
