Hi,
I onced use I8kfanGUI for detecting CPU and GPU temperatures and fan speed. They all worked on windows. I've never been able to check the GPU temp on linux. Anyone having an idea? My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 8500 with a nVidia GeForce4 4200 Go ("01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV28 [GeForce4 Ti 4200 Go AGP 8x] (rev a1)" as reported by lspci. Note that the card is AGP4, not 8). I tryed nvclock, nvidia-settings, i8k module. Anyone having an idea on how to get the temperature from the GPU? I know its possible since It was done by i8kfangui... Thanx |
