Default Re: Driver 9625 - TV not detected at startup, but nv-settings does

I'm not sure if I should start a new thread, but I have the very same issue with 1.0.9746 and 1.0.9631 drivers with 6200 card. TV is detected but is not used (it is listed as "disabled" by nvidia-settings). I've tried "UseDisplayDevice" "TV" option, but when I use it, my monitor is completely ignored. Gzipped nvidia-bug-report.log is attached.

In your bug report, you've configured a single X screen with a CRT, yet you've set the ConnectedMonitor option to two display devices. The bug report that you've attached doesn't seem to correspond with your problem description.

Thanks, I've already found out that it is a configuration issue.

Hello. Can we (nvidia consumers) have any progress news on resolving this issue? Gf4 dual-head was broken 6 months ago (bug reports sent and confirmed). Will we have it fixed by nvidia soon or better wait till a nouveau beta driver from the open-source community? Thanks

sams0n,
The bug that was confirmed 6 months ago has long since been resolved. If you're still experiencing problems, I'd suggest starting a new thread with a bug report.

Thanks,
Lonni

Just checked it. It is resolved now. Now it fails to detect tv via nv-settings as well as at startup. Fixed.

PS: I think I will wait till nouveau driver.
PPS: Another bugreport http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show....php?p=1164086
