After finding and d/loading the Dual-Core Optimizer from the AMD web site and reading that it CAN help improve some PC gaming video performance i though i would give it a try, i wasent sure if like the Dual Core Processor Drivers it had to be installed before my gfx card drivers so i uninstalled my Dual Core Processor Drivers then my gfx drivers, THEN reinstalled the Dual Core Processor Drivers, installed the Dual-Core Optimizer then reinstalled my v91.47 gfx card drivers, every thing seemed ok until.... i played a game, yeah the game ran fine untill i tried to close the game down, as soon as i closed a game it would flash to desktop then the monitor would go black for afew seconds then back to the desktop again sometimes the desktop would endup being distorted(weird colours).... it would do this afew times untill it finally froze or untill i got pissed off and hit the reset button, my system is running fine now i have unintalled the Optimizer... anybody had this problem and sorted it out or has anybody got any ideas whats going on?.... a mate of mine installed the Dual-Core Optimizer and got the blue screen of death, as soon as he uninstalled it every this was fine and his system is running normal!
To me it seems like some kind of software confliction.... andybody got any ideas? Thanks.

Hate to say it, those are exactly the symptoms I had when my 7900 GTXs (two of them) started going bad....
