Default 6150 Twinview Xorg.conf

I've been trying to setup a mythtv box with a 6150.. I can get either TV out or VGA out to work but not both on a twin setup.. I suspect I'm just setting my xorg up wrong.. Any tips on where I'm going wrong and how to fix it??

Please generate and post an nvidia-bug-report.log which captures this problem.

Thanks,

I see a few problems:
0) You're using 1.0-8174 which is no longer supported.
1) The glx module is failing to load:
(==) NVIDIA(0): Using gamma correction (1.0, 1.0, 1.0)
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the GLX module; please check in your X
(EE) NVIDIA(0): log file that the GLX module has been loaded in your X
(EE) NVIDIA(0): server, and that the module is the NVIDIA GLX module. If
(EE) NVIDIA(0): you continue to encounter problems, Please try
(EE) NVIDIA(0): reinstalling the NVIDIA driver.

2) You have no xorg.conf, and therefore I can't tell why you're not getting two display devices to work, however I'd guess its because you haven't configured X to use both of them.

Thanks,
-Lonni

Okay just upgraded to the latest drivers.. Again I can get tvout to work by itself or just the vga to work by itself.. when I attempt to use twinview it now gives me a garbled screen and freezes requiring a reboot.. Here's the bug report on this one which does include an xorg.conf

There are two lines to be concerned with here:

(EE) NVIDIA(0): The requested configuration of display devices is not
(EE) NVIDIA(0): supported in the hardware.

I think this thread explains your problem:

Thanks for the thread link -- I'll go grab a dvi to hdmi cable and give that a shot.
