Font corruption using 1.0.9625
Dear Nvidia developers,
I have just installed the latest beta drivers: Code:
[ebuild R ] x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9625 USE="dlloader" 0 kB Now I started experiencing font corruption under KDE 3.5.4. Please find attached 2 snapshots which illustrate the problem: The corruption happens at random and goes away if I hover my mouse cursor over it. I'm attaching the nvidia bug report as well: nvidia-bug-report.log Thank you in advance for looking into this issue. PS. I am using fontconfig-2.4.1, freetype-2.1.10-r2 and Gentoo. |

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem on my Debian Unstable, Xorg 7.1.1, KDE 3.5.4, GeForce 6800 Go Damien. Last edited by cyrion; 09-30-06 at 06:09 PM. |

same problem here with a GF488Go, OpenSuse-10.1.
Glad to hear others are also experiencing this problem, I was afraid I would have to stick at 8xxx drivers because noone else would see this problem. |

me too
 gentoo, 6600, in KDE 3.5.5, driver version 9626. sometimes a single font here and there is corrupt, marking the corrupted text turn it back to 'normal'. |

With the x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9742 version, the font corruption seems to be gone
