When I initially posted previews of the H-1 VC somebody here was suggesting they were renders, but here's some proof its all in game.

I've never actually watched The Aviator, so I might have to go out and rent that one.

That is an incredible looking beast Silly - and that VC is a work of art. aerosoft are the 'dogs bollocks' of the fs dev teams.

I got the Twin Otter [and my legit copy of the Do-27] today, which couldn't be more different to H1-B, but is another beautiful aerosoft model. It's so smooth to fly, and the frame rates are better than anything else I've flown...the same can't be said of the Dornier sadly, with poor frame rates, but the attention to detail is fantastic, and it's an interesting plane to fly.

The demo is total popoo & has non of the fixes Aces added to the game via both SP1 & SP2
basically the demo is just a small part of the RTM version of FSX (which to be honest with you was pretty much a beta when it was released),i would'nt judge the full patched up game by the demo as there pretty much diffrent sims performance wise, but if you do decide to jump in grab a few cool beers & start at page 1 of this thread for some of the best info on free & payware for bits and bobs for FSX

Good luck

Buy the deluxe version of FSX if you see it. It includes more aircraft (24 vs. 18), more missions, more high detail cities, and you can play as ATC. It also has the Garmin G1000 in some of the new aircraft.

Well after flying to the limits of AU Blue and seeing just how bad the default Aces texures were i decided to grab Gold....and dam its even more detailed that Blue!

Im begining to think the Aces team should just outsource all of FSXI's ground textures and autogen production to Orbx and sky/water to the FEX/REX guys because if FSX's default rubbish is anything to go by theres no way they have the talent to surpass(or even match)those 3rd partys current work!
