Yeah, thanks for those slaWter - I have yet to see any really decent shots of this scenery, and am not entirely convinced by it. To me the colours look a bit drab, and though it is supposed to be 1.2m, it seems to lack the clarity of GenX or Megascenery.

I want to be proved otherwise, so if anyone sees some really good shots, please post some links.

Yeah I was looking forward to the Swiss scenery but was hoping for a better price, plus I can't get Aerosoft to tell me what resolution it uses. I've posted about it twice now with no response. The product description at both Flylogics site and Simmarket state 2m, though the box image at flylogics site shows 1.2m. I was hoping to see better urban autogen placement than what's in the screens, and it doesn't looks like 1.2m to me, though a user at the Aerosoft forum claimed that it is.

No multiplayer for me unfortunately.

That's a bummer. MP is the only thing I play anymore. I have an older PC or else I would love to get some of that great scenery and just fly around and check it out. MP is fun because I like actually talking to other people and keeping in contact with the tower.

I have never flown MP either - I think I fear embarrassing myself, and like Silly, I'm not one for following procedure to the letter - though I do try.

I think I would end up pissing a lot of people off.

A short coastal trip, from Exeter into Dorset, in the new Carenado Piper Cherokee.

I hope Carenado rebuild the 182Q for FSX like they did with this one. Cool shots SJA06.

Below is a quote from their website, so it seem like a 'yes' - which is great except I have recently bought the whole range of the older versions

Carenado Going Exclusively FSX
On August 7th, 2008 - Carenado announced important news about its fleet and its future.

1. - Due to some incompatibility issues with some aircraft with SP2/AP, the company decided to develop again its complete fleet from zero to be full FSX and DX10 compatible.

2. - Each new development will be a separate package specially developed for FSX and DX10 and will have all the new amazing effects and features only achievable with FSX and DX10 .

3. - The company is not developing FS2004 compatible aircraft any more. But will maintain its current FS2004 fleet as it is.

Here's few REX shots I picked while looking through the thread at FSW.

A couple from one of my favorite spots south east of Launceston Tasmania.

Those REX clouds looks REAL. Thanks for the heads up on Carenado. The 182Q is first on the list.Really like those rural textures from ORBX.
