This combined with my recent clean install to cure the sutters I was getting now make flying in the area quite enjoyable.
Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully we can all enjoy AUGreen as it should be.

I just recently found out the Nemeth BO-105 has a military variant with mounted guns.... Had I know that I might have bought it sooner! Anyway here's some shots of the civilian model. Too bad it's got so many bugs. The one that I dislike most is there's some kind of invisible object extending about 60ft out from both sides, so when doing low level flights it will strike the ground when banking, or hit objects when passing by. Almost seems like some of the developers out there these days have abandoned the beta process.

Hey silly

Yep i feel your pain with the BO-105 the problems with it have been well documented on there forums as well as a few post on SOH (seem they pushed it out as a beta to get some cash and will patch it up over time) not the best way to generate a good buzz about your product!

Ive had a number of requests for repaints of various BO-105 liveries but ive told them pretty much all the same thing that i wont repaint it till they fix it ive done 2 sofar and i have a list of cool schemes todo

Just drop my pre=order in for AU red to get a 24hour jump on the release cant wait to get into that expanse of bush hehe

Got a few more C152 paints in the pipe heres a WIP

I like the dirty look but the clean repaint loving part on my brain starts screaming WTF are you doing to that nice clean looking texture!

Funny how the 3rd shot looks like ive added some kind of focus filter to the pic (i havent its just been resized from 1920x1200 with 15% sharpening to remove the slight blur downsizing adds)

Laters

Personaly I prefer the "used" look than the straight out of the factory sheen. The shot on that tail is photoreal. Well done.

Yep, I like a bit of filth too - can't wait to grab that paint, it's truly a stunner.

I was surprised to see Orbx money raising suggestions this week and it just goes to show how tough the market is for FS developers. If a company of their calibre is struggling with funding, what must it be like for the smaller players.

I guess Orbx are counting on N.American scenery sales being a lot higher than Oz, which I'm sure they will be, despite the existence of UTX and GEX.

I am going to pre-order Red as well, it looks like it will be stunning - though as with the previous three releases I find the size of the area's covered a bit daunting.

Wow that repaint is crazy. Maybe one of the best I've ever seen.

@ Sandeep. I'm not sure who uses TrackIR around here, I know Lith1um does but he has not posted in while.

Hey Guys

Sorry sandeep cant help you on the TrackIR problem(im a cheap git and use freetrack) but welcome to the forums and our little(or not so little now)FSX thread

As always Many Thanks for all the kind words on the repaints guys i guessed you lot would like it a dirty

I've always held off on beating up my past repaints because i did it once and just got emails asking for a clean version! i guess you cant please everyone hehe
that said i think i'll release this as 2 diffrent repaints a clean one(because all my ref photo's of her are nice and clean)and a gritty one for the grime fans

shes almost done should be packaged up and uploaed tommorow

warning the following thumbnail links to a 1920x1200 image,2 reasons why i havent resized it

1. I only have paint on this laptop & 2. i got and email asking me if i was cheating/image editing to get the lighting detail on the WIP shots ive posted sofar! which i assure you im not,i just fixed carenado's normals maps so there channels are in the correct arrangement and made some custom spec maps this is a stright grab from FSX no resizing or tone edititng

BTW i have the xml for the FEX cloud set in this shot i call it Vapourware

Cheers

Well, I have tried installing TRACKIR prior to FSX, didn't work then I formatted my PC and installed FSX followed by TRACIR, still doesn't work.

I didn't not modify any profiles.

Look forward to getting the paint later Steve...share your xml, looks like a nice set - vapourware

Russ White and Butch added their HD-VC and repaint for the Carenado 182RG and very good it is too.

I have the older FS9 patched to FSX version of the 182, it works fine, but needs to be manually installed after the installer attempts to place the files.
