Wow thats looks nice,i always loved the vulcan i had it as a model kit as a kid and it took forever to paint about a week after i finished it my bro smashed it off the ceiling little ****!

I like the stuff i have from Iris although they can be a bit slow to patch stuff btw we have one of there Flightmodelers on team with the Goose Redux project over at Ozx she's only worked up a few betas atm but already it flys 10 times better than the default,cant wait to get you guys some updated shots of the goose were working over the VC atm and its starting to come together real nice

Love that edited Crepuscular rays shot Nubee! i did get a hacked up shader running in FSX once but it ran at like 3 fps hehe maybe i shouls ask the FSWC guys if they fancy having a crack at it after they finish up FSWC+

btw, did you upgrade your SLI setup? 2x 285... great stuff

Oh yeah, it was about time, my old 8800GTX-SLI was too old, one of the first on the market, it raped my electricity bill. Well, its not much difference now BUT at least I have more graphic power. It doesn't really help in FSX, but in other games. I even got 1000 points more in 3DMark Vantage with one 285GTX over the 8800GTX-SLI. With 285GTX SLI (OC @ 702/1584/1332) i got 26196 with the 182.08 driver on HQ.
But more important is that I'm pleased, I'm more relaxed now that that I can turn everything way up on every game I play

Those are some awesome edits NuBee, very impressive! Especially that Cessna going into the sun. I saw that one before and it's one of my all time favorite FSX shots.

Here's a series of shots I did to show how I commonly like to fly, which is from spot view, down low in the trees. These are shots I grabbed right while I was flying, so no screenshot tricks, though I did crop them to try and give the sense of motion I get while flying like this.

Wow nice looing area i'll have to give that a fly over,Oz is so dam big but i pretty much always end up at my regular haut's i havent even start to explore Red yet apart from alice and uluru.....argg all this repaint work is taking up my simming time!

Well i might get my ass kicked for this but what the hell its my work

Just started to lay a colour scheme down on the Goose Redux still very WIP and shes going to get a VH-AIF style grunge up once all the colours are blocked in most of the detail here is from the rebuilt normal map and all those pannel dents are part of that so the env ripples as you pass by them looks pretty freaking cool in sim!

Here's some interesting WWII trivia:

The phrase 'balls to the wall' is a hold-over from WWII when power levers (throttle, mixture, prop) all had round balls at the top, each color coded (black, red, blue). Push the power all the way, and you'd have all the balls against the firewall—balls to the wall.

'All nine yards' is also a WWII phrase relating to the length of a belt of 50-cal. machine gun bullets. "Give em all nine yards," and you'd have expended all your ammo.

You'll also hear that a sports team 'waxed their ass" or 'waxed their tail,' both derived from an excited WWI fighter's pilots report that he was so close behind the Hun during a dogfight he could have waxed his tail.

Hey guys looking for a bit of help with FSX in relation to ckpit tootips. I have the Deluxe version of FSX with Acceleration installed and REX. The problem is that ckpit tooltips do not display in either 2D or Virtual ckpit.

I have tried flicking the option on and off and yet I get no response. Is there any way in which i can enable the tooltips or have i done something to permanently disable it?

Any help much appreciated
