but since clean installing the drivers while moving to 260.63 it hasnt fellover once

Did you use any of the lastest tweaks for FSX some while give al ot of improment to framerate can cause systems to act a bit strange need a bit more info to help really

I finally got mine installed and all updated with acceleration and REX. It's been flawless so far. I'm also using 260.63.
Thanks for all the great info omzig. I'm going to go ahead and get the entire Orbx's AU, can't wait till they come out with more NA scenery.

Hey steve - I will check the drivers, not sure the version I am running ATM.

Haven't made any tweaks yet. Was going to but wanted to get this figure out first. I'll let you know the driver info when I can get it.

EDIT: Actually, I'll log in to my home PC and find out.

Not Nubee's magic, but an attempt. I just can't get mine to look that good. Close, but I'm picky. I'm more about screenshots than frames/second, so any advice I'll take with a smile. You may remember me from the original OzX Goose Redux release/preview thread at Simouthouse SOH forums. Or maybe you've been to the FSE forums... Anyway, I'm a huge Goose fan. I've been reading this forum for about 2 years now, and thought I'd try out the screenshot thing going on here.

Here's my Goose paintjob... N69263. The new OzX Goose Redux update has it's sister ship for Catalina Flying Boats as one of the available paints. I was very happy to see it. I credit much of this paint to OzX because I use their bump map, and their prop textures. They make the Goose look better.

What plane are you flying? Are you using any mods for this area? Plus, seeing that you have a realistic/complex route, what flight planner are you using?

I'm finally done experimenting, tweaking, troubleshooting, etc., so I can focus on doing some proper flying Last week, I decided to take my Carenado C182 RG II on a trip around Australia (this is going to take some time, as I fly a short leg every few days due to real-life time constraints...). I use FTX AU and FEX plus Orbx' freeware AI traffic and airports (new versions contain local GA traffic for all of the add-on airports, which realy adds to the experience).

My last leg was from YPEC via MSO to YPMQ (which is one of the add-on fields). I arrived at dusk with moderate traffic, and entering the traffic pattern with planes lining-up for landing with lights flickering in the dark was just spectacular

I don't have any mods YET, but I really want to get REX. Looks fantastic. I mainly fly the 737-800 but on occasion the 757-300. Use to fly solely the 777 but they took it out of FSX. Also, search google for flight planners, they will do it for you. I fly in real life and do it just like I would for any real flight but there is one site I use sometimes that is really handy. I have it bookmarked on my home PC. I'll copy the link later tonight.

Ya, I only fly online so I'm always in crowded airspace. Lining up for approaches is a great feeling. Just watch your distance.
My answers in bold. Sorry it took so long to respond!
